She was predeceased by: her husband Butley Joseph Mahler Jr.; her parents, Rufus Hudson LaRose and Florence Lajaunie LaRose; and her brother Rufus Henry LaRose Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Louise Mahler Lemoing and Matthew Louis Mahler (Luisa Fernanda Mahler); her brother Arlen Louis LaRose (Janie Marie Michel); her grandchildren, Nicholas Joseph Mahler and Emma Marie Mahler; and her nieces and nephews, Michelle Marie LaRose, Nicole Marie LaRose Dehon (Markey Dehon), Christopher Louis LaRose (Alicia Huddleston LaRose), Brantley Louis LaRose (Kerri Ouber LaRose) and Megan Marie LaRose Landry (Bradley Landry).
