She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Coleman, Sr.; her children, Albert Coleman and Rosa Bolden; her parents, Emmitt, Sr. Smith and Albertha Cross Smith; and her siblings, Oscar Harvey, Emmitt, Jr., Henry, John Lynn, Bessie Mosely, Mathilda Solomon, Evelyn Martin and Gloria Young.
She is survived by: her children, Bernett, Clarence Coleman, Jr. (Janice), Barbara Mustiful, Irene and Corine Coleman; her brother Percy; and her friend Loretta Turner. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren.
