She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond DeHart and Velma DeHart; her in-laws, Constance Callahan Sr. and Azalie Luke Callahan; and her grandson Dru Callahan.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Callahan Sr.; her children, Christina Stephenson (Tim), Azalie Callahan (Stephen Dupre), Raymond Callahan (Lea) and Gary Callahan Jr. (Karen); her grandchildren, Brett Hebert, Jason Cenac, Marina Callahan, David Terrebonne, Amanda Terrebonne, Zachary Callahan, Emma Callahan, Mathew Callahan, Sean Callahan and Layla Callahan; and her sisters, Marian Ledet (Rudy), Loraine Fonseca (Larry, Sr.) and Louann Adams (Tim). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chauvin Funeral Home & Crematory (5899 LA-311, Houma, LA 70360). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Eloi Catholic Church (1335 Bayou Dularge Rd, Theriot, LA 70397).
