She was predeceased by: her daughters, Jerry Lynn and Roxann Francis Cheramie; her former husband Dolty Joseph Cheramie, Jr.; her husband Floyd P. Fanguy; her parents, Leonard Joseph and Corrine Claire Luke Benoit; and her siblings, Melvin, Myron Beniot, Juneitta Buquet, Irene Boudreaux, Janette Cheramie and Gladys Benoit.

She is survived by: her son Dolty J. Cheramie, III (Charlene); her grandchildren, Nicole C. Graul, Dalen A. Cheramie, Derek J. Cheramie (Heidi), Natalie C. Benzman (Jeff) and Michael A. Landry, II (Rebecca); and her great grandchildren, Joseph "West" Graul, Bryce Anthony Cheramie, Sean Brooks Graul, Micah Stone Landry, Samuel "Elliot" Benzman, Judah Asher Landry, Molly Cheramie Benzman, Jake Broussard Benzman and Vincent John Cheramie.
