She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Rushing and Shirley Hendon; her sister Rose Downing; her husband Clifton Sparks; her parents, Ludvic Terrebonne and Celia Terrebonne; her sisters, Gloria Pitre and Gardner; and her son-in-law Hubert Rushing Sr.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren.
