He was predeceased by: his former wife Shirley Neal Blanchard; his daughters, Noricia Blanchard Young and Vickie Blanchard Turner; his grandson Michael Turner; his parents, Claymille Blanchard and Albertine Benoit Blanchard; and his siblings, George, Arthur, Robert, Irvin, Albert, Camille, Amalie Domangue, Eunice Voisin, Emily Hebert and Eula Vizier.

He is survived by: his wife Denise Bergeron Blanchard; his sons, Reese Blanchard and Kenneth Blanchard; his grandchildren, Betty Jo Fryou, Laura Young, Evan Blanchard, Daniel Turner, Yvonne Blanchard, Jennifer Turner Hoffman, James Turner and Rachel Turner Vining; his great grandchildren, Megan Romero, Kaeden Thomas, Madison Blanchard, John Ruvalcaba, Boden Hoffman, Isla Turner, Steven Turner and Ayden Blanchard; and his extended family French.
