She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Brunet and Marguerite LeBoeuf Brunet; her brothers, Elmer Brunet Jr. and Kenneth Brunet; and her great grandchild Sidney Donaldson III.

She is survived by: her children, Cheryl L. Dufrene, Angela L. Gisclair and John Loupe III; her brothers, Steven Brunet, Johnny Brunet and Derell Brunet; her brother-in-law Lawrence Verdin; her sister Marlene Verdin; and her sister-in-law Maggie Brunet. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
