She was predeceased by: her children, Louis Walker, Jr., Mary Walker Johnson, Carolyn Walker Harris and Sharon Woods; her siblings, Ernest Woods, Sr., Edward Woods, Sylvia Bibbins, Fannie Williams, Virginia J. Ross and Patricia Woods; and her parents, Thomas Woods, Jr. and Lillie Calloway Woods.
She is survived by: her daughter Amanda Woods; her sister Annette Edwards (Douglas); her sister-in-law Gilda Diggs Woods; her nephew Lloyd Woods; and her godchildren, Alissia Smith, LaSonya Walker and Ry'ya Kent. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 223 Stovall St, Houma, LA 70364. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
