He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Klingman and Sadie Gautreaux Klingman; and his siblings, Sidney, Alfred Klingman, Millie Klingman and Elivia "Blackie" Voisin.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Tastet Klingman; his son Leon Klingman III (Lynette Klingman); his stepson Todd Joseph Serigny Sr. (Missy Waters); his brother Floyd Klingman Sr. (Annette); his grandchildren, Chloe Klingman, Tre Serigny (Brittany Serigny), Chance Serigny and Todd Serigny Jr.; his stepgrandchildren, Alexis Pinell and Henry Pinell Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Tre Serigny Jr., Raiden Serigny, Landon Rouse and Makayla Rouse.
