He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Martin and Bella Martin; his brothers, Luke Martin, Sr. and Silas Martin, Sr.; and his brothers-in-law, Clay Boudreaux and Steve Alvarez.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Alvarez Martin; his children, Meda Arbour (Jim), Kirkland Martin, Jr. (Kathie), Darryll Martin (Gail), Rochelle Mauriès (Alain), Hannah Carr (Greg), David DePascal (Maria), Michael DePascal (Stacy), Dawn DePascal and Lori DePascal (Mark Trahan); his siblings, Andrew Martin (Ann) and Margie Boudreaux; his siblings-in-law, Bobby Alvarez, Stella Martin, Joyce Martin, Linda Sevin and Carol Alvarez; and his cousin Carl Savoie. He is also survived by twenty one grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren.
