It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kerry Laurent of Houma, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on July 17, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Paul Laurent and Audrey Manning Laurent; and his brothers, Gerald Laurent Jr. (Sandra) and Richard Laurent (late Barbara). He is survived by: his wife Susan Wolff Laurent; his daughters, Christine Laurent Blanchard (Andrew) and Jennifer Laurent Picou (Leland); his grandchildren, Toby Blanchard (Kourtney), Todd Blanchard (Crystal), Nathan Fox (Tamara), Tessie Blanchard Kern (Jonathan), Brittney Pecoraro (Emily), Ryan Pecoraro (Emily), Jackie Picou Knight (Derek), Rebecca Picou (Ty), Gage Blanchard (Cameron) and Kailey Picou (Hunter); his great grandchildren, Allie Blanchard, Alyssa Blanchard, Kierstyn Fox, Kilyn Lyons, Malaya Fox, Aubrey Blanchard, Blakely Knight, Nathan Fox Jr., Easton Pecoraro and Callan Knight; his pet Winifred Louise Laurent; and his sisters, Patricia Laurent Schneider (late George) and Ida Manning (Peter). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
