He is survived by: his wife Hilda Breaux Matherne; his children, Rodney Matherne and Jody Matherne Ward; his siblings, Gary, Thomas Matherne, Mary Ellen Mckee, Nancy LeBouef, Margie Yerena and Suzanne Kitchens; his grandchildren, Ryan Paul Matherne, Jake Ryan Ward and Brianna Claire Ward; and his great grandchildren, Rylan Paul Matherne, Camrynn Claire Matherne and Ridge Paul-Adam Matherne. He is also survived by family that included 2 children, 3 grand children and 3 great grand children.
