He is survived by: his wife Joyce Simms Gauche; his sons, Donald Poindexter (Keya) and Michael Simms (Trese); and his siblings, EGerald Gauche (Janice), Sheila Patterson (Vernon), Sherita Johnson (Kenneth) and Christine Pharr. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
