She was predeceased by: her parents, James, Jr. Vergin and Elloise Williams Vergin; and her siblings, James, III, Irvin, David Vergin, Ora Mae and Eloise Vergin.
She is survived by: her husband Jesse Brown, Sr.; her children, Patrick Vergin, Irma Galmore and Theledia Trosclair (Michael); her stepchildren, Jesse Brown, Jr., Faye Wesley (Charles), Stephanie Johnson (Frank) and Sherita Granger (Anthony); her granddaughter Kawyki Richards; her brother Junius Vergin (Winifred); and her sister-in-law Gustavia Vergin. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
