It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Vestal of Houma, Louisiana, born in Newellton, Louisiana, who passed away on January 29, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Ryan Joseph Vestal; his parents, Thelma Vestal and John Taylor Zachary Vestal; his sisters, Latoya Vestal Welch (James), Barbara Vestal Knapp (Jerry) and Linda Vestal Black (Kirby); and his sister-in-law Joy Dollar Vestal (John Wayne).
He is survived by: his wife Sue Daigle Vestal; his daughter Stacey Vestal Aguillard (Joseph Aguillard); his grandchildren, James, Clay and Cameron; his daughter-in-law Emily McGraw Vestal; his children, Hayes, Taylor and William "Bill"; his siblings, John Wayne Vestal, Ronald Vestal (Susan), Tommy Vestal (Lisa), Lou Ann Cosper (Steve) and Lisa Gail Wimberly (Tom); and his siblings-in-law, Steve Daigle (Faye), Kathy Picou (Ronney), John Daigle (Cherie), Judy Fucich (Mark), Theresa LaRose, Alice Watson (John) and David Daigle (Cyndi). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Francis de Sales School, Vandebilt Catholic High, or the sports team of Russell's grandsons through Venmo @Rick-Anderson-11.
