He is survived by: his wife Verlena Ward Hayes; his children, Joseph Dupree, Joshua McGuire, Shawn Hayes, Rance, Quinn Ward and Rorielle Ward; and his siblings, Ryan, Sandra and Conqueise Hayes. He is also survived by four grandchildren; one great grandchild.
