He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cledemond Champagne, Sr. and Irene Scott Dean; and his siblings, Ronald J. Theriot, Glenn P. Theriot, Sheryl M. Belanger, Carolyn C. Vito, Scotty Francis Champagne, Flossie M. Champagne and Thomas Jude Champagne.
He is survived by: his sisters, Norma Woodall (Devone Woodall) and Roxane Deroche (Nicholas Melancon). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
