He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Lofaso Shutts; his children, Jari Lynn Shutts Ring (Jasper), Patricia Shutts Spicuzza (Luke), James Shutts, John Shutts and Mary Beth Shutts Doggett (Robert); his grandchildren, Jasper Ring (Evalyn), Joshua Ring, Jonathan Ring, Amanda King (Matthan), Christian Shutts, Rachel Spears (Parker), Terri Davis, Tracy Doggett and Stacy Dubois; his great grandchild Poppy Elayne King; and his friends, Werner Hagen, Jimmy Hagen, Ken Boudreaux, Riley Rhodes and Jake Walker.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to St Mathews Episcopal Church of Houma, LA in his memory.
