He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Snyder Karns; and his parents, Ella Karns and Miles Karns. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Karns (Monica) and Don Karns (Karen); his grandchildren, Matthew Karns (Rachel), Lauren and Benjamin Karns (Jessica); and his great grandchildren, Luke, Levi, Logan Karns, Ethan Vedros, Kate Vedros, Randi Karns and Rylee Karns.
