We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2024, at the age of 86, Joe Guy Mergey of Houma, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Mergey and Huguette Mergey; and his niece Diane Escott. He is survived by: his wife Marie-Therese Mergey; his children, Marianne Bienvenu (Alec), Lydie Reese (Gary), Martial Mergey (Lisa), Hank Mergey (Kristal) and Steve Mergey; his grandchildren, Alec (Brittany), Pamela (Dirk), Monique (Jude), Caleb, Andre' (Crystal), Cody, Emily, Logan and Ayden; and his sister Elyane Mergey. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
A prayer was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the West Park-Houma (4511 W Park Ave, Gray, LA 70359).
