It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Cenac of Houma, Louisiana, born in Theriot, Louisiana, who passed away on July 19, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Cenac Sr.; her parents, John Chauvin and Lula Chauvin; her parents-in-law, Tenner Cenac and Virgie Cenac; her daughter-in-law Karen L. Cenac; her siblings, Bonnie Jackson, Ronnie Chauvin and Danny Chauvin; her siblings-in-law, Daniel Jackson, Al Cenac, Judy Chauvin and Pat Cenac; and her grandparents, Edmond, Grazillia Lovell, Anatole and Ophelia Chauvin.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Cenac Jr. (Janice Courville) and Jody Cenac; her grandson Jacob Cenac (Shelbie) of Houma, LA.; and her sister-in-law Betty Chauvin of Garland, TX.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
