It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jason Austin Benton of Houma, Louisiana, who passed away on March 20, 2023, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Lillian Bischoff Benton; and his grandparents, Esco Benton, Margaret Rigamer Benton, Edward Bischoff and Elizabeth Breitschopf Bichoff.

He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Gunn Benton; his father Jerry Benton (Sheila Arceneaux); his children, Lakyn, Austin, Megan, Hannah, Jack and Archie Benton; and his siblings, Seth Benton, Robin Wurzel (Barry) and Holly Andrepont (René). He is also survived by his family, building a canoe with his father.
