With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Dagate of Houma, Louisiana, born in Edgard, Louisiana, who passed away on April 21, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Lawrence Dagate, Dr. John Dagate, Annette Dagate Saal (Chris Saal) and Robin Dagate Stonecipher (Ben Stonecipher); her daughter-in-law Jennifer Weimer Dagate; her grandchildren, Judge Jason Dagate (Erin), Jacob Dagate (Brittany), Rachel Saal, Adam Saal (Kaitlyn), Sam Stonecipher and James Stonecipher; her stepgranddaughter Michelle Stonecipher; her great grandchildren, Emma Dagate, James C. Dagate, Grant Dagate and Annie James Dagate; her husband Anthony John "A. J."; her son James "Jimmy" Dagate; her parents, S. W. Hazlip, Jr. and Thelma Laurent Hazlip; and her siblings, Lesa Hazlip Thurman and S. W. "Bill" Hazlip, III.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, St. Francis de Sales Cathedral School, Vandebilt Catholic High School, or The V Foundation of South Louisiana which is set up to support the teachers at Vandebilt Catholic High.
