James Erny Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Erny (Houma, Louisiana), who passed away on October 2, 2021 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Erny to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence "Prof" Erny and Evelyn Sibille Erny; and his brothers-in-law, Julius Manuel and Marion "Penny" Pendergraft. He is survived by: his wife Mildred "Millie" Erny; his children, James Christopher Erny (Gabrielle Gros Erny) and Deborah Erny Kelly (John Patrick Kelly, Jr.); his grandchildren, James Jackson Erny (Jackson), John Patrick Kelly, III (Amy Zukoski Kelly), Clinton Erny, Evan Kelly, Colin Erny and Sarah Kelly; and his siblings, Lawrence "Larry" Erny, Jr. (Glory Erny), Beverly "Sue" Erny Marcello (Michael "Micky" Marcello), Rita Erny Pendergraft and John Erny (Marti Erny). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Because of his deep affection for the citizens of Terrebonne Parish, and in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Hache Grant Foundation for Hurricane Ida recovery victims: Venmo: @Hache-Grant or (985) 791-3351, or for scholarships to the Houma-Terrebonne Soccer Association by dropping off a check at any Synergy Bank made out to HTSA with a memo "In Honor of Jim Erny.".
