He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelic Ledet Lagarde and Lucien J. Lagarde; and his siblings, L. J. (Fido), Gabriel, Alban Lagarde (Black), Noimee L. Naquin, Margaret L. Weimer and Catherine L. Simon (Kitty).
He is survived by: his wife Phylles Brieden Lagarde; his children, Brian J. Lagarde and Lauren L. Champagne (Ken Champagne); his granddaughters, Kaelyn L. Deese (Chasen), Hannah and Mollie Champagne; and his great grandchild Kylie Rae Deese.
