She was predeceased by: her husband Dewey "Druis" Lirette; her daughter Lisa; her parents, Arthur Thibodeaux Sr. and Ella P. Thibodeaux; her siblings, Arthur Jr., Lindsey, Wilbert, Elton, Vallie Collins, Blanche Theriot and Winona; and her daughter-in-law Wanda Naquin Lirette.
She is survived by: her children, Brent Lirette (Shannon) of Houston, Melvin Lirette (Carol) of Houma, Susie Boudreaux (Felton) of Chauvin, Peggy Lirette of Chauvin and Merril Levien (David) of Houlton, Maine; her brother Jimmy Thibodeaux (Doris); and her grandchildren, Michael, Bill Levien, Rachel DiStefano, Kristee Hukill, Temi Little, Jena Belanger, Kerry Trosclair, Kurt, Kyle Zamarripa, Teri, Greg, Sean Boudreaux, Kim LeBouef, Cindy Dubois, Taryn Ugas, David Allemand, Stacie Kilgore and Jaime Stuart. She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial Masses are requested to be said in her memory at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin.
