He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin, Sr. and Maggie Scoby Richard; and his brother Ronald "Tweed" Richard. He is survived by: his sons, Irvin Richard, IV (Ashley), John Juan Richard and Rodney R. (Rona); his siblings, Felicia, Aubert, Irma Jean Galmore, Craig Porter and Patricia Porter; and his grandparents, Tom Scoby, Lula Tolbert Scoby, Irvin Richard and Cecila Walsh-Smith. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
