He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Neal Martin; his parents, Edmund Davis Martin and Selma Boyer Martin; his sister Winnie Mae LeBlanc; and his grandson Alex Martin.
He is survived by: his sons, Rodney Martin, Keith Martin (Judy), Stuart Martin (Tammy Morgan) and Sammy Martin (Tina). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
