She was predeceased by: her mother Ida Mae Lyons; her grandparents, William and Elizabeth Robinson; her siblings, Joseph Thompson, Sr., Jessie, Charles, Eddie Lyons and Ollie Mae Jones; and her mother-in-law Hilda Mae Butler Porche.

She is survived by: her husband Norman W. Porche, Sr.; her children, Norman W. Porche, Jr. (Onsheyl), Nolan W. Porche (LeTonda) and Tyshanell N. King (Taaka); her siblings, Albert Lyons, Sr., Williams Lyons, Sr., Evelyn Lyons Madison and Elizabeth Smith; and her father-in-law Charles Porche, Sr.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Residence Baptist Church (2605 Isaac St, Houma, LA 70360). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
