Roth (Howard), Judy O. Grammer (Roy "Buddy"), Mamie O. Breaux (Murphy Sr.), Marie O. Padel (Giles) and Sadie O. Hawes (Cecil); his brother-in-law Kerragen C. Ledet; and his parents-in-law, Ivy J. Smith, Sr. and Violet Lirette Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Therese Marie Smith Oubre; his children, Howard "Buck" A. Oubre Jr. (Elizabeth) and Alisa Oubre Ransome (Dustin); his grandchildren, Thomas, Meredith Oubre, Christin and Cullen Ransome; his sister Betty O. Ledet; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Oubre, Ivy, Danny and Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
