He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Stokes and Charlie Bell Whatley. He is survived by: his wife Sharlene Stokes; his stepdaughters, Crystal Brown, Yolanda Brown, June Williams (Kevin) and Sharonda Fusilier (Derrick); his stepmother Mildred Stokes; and his siblings, Terries Stokes (Asmia), Gary Stokes (Louise), Folzia Whatley, Ravin Whatley (Linda), Darleen Jenkins (Larry), Michelle Maize, Juanita Jenkins (Vincent), Mattie Wilborn (Willie), Mae James (Danny) and Princee Whatley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home (617 Bond St, Houma, LA 70360). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
