He was predeceased by: his wife Estelle Boudreaux Dupre; his parents, Cleveland Dupre and Hattie Roger Dupre; his grandchildren, Dawn and Matthew; his great grandchildren, Morgan, Emma and Gabriella; and his sisters, Leola Dupre Falgout Detiveaux, Theresa Dupre Authement and Tina Marie Dupre.

He is survived by: his children, Wayne Dupre (Charlotte), Wanda LeBlanc (Daniel), Wade Dupre, Herbert Dupre, Jr. (Patricia), Aleda Blanchard (Timothy) and Linda Breaux (Royce); and his friend Betty Henry. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
