He was predeceased by: his parents, Hosea Chatman and Mary Wilson Chatman; his brothers, Johnny Chatman, Sr., Nolan and Charlie Williams; his stepbrothers, John Celestine and Ernest Reed; and his sisters, Irdean W. Allen, Sadie and Virginia Williams.
He is survived by: his daughter Gail Jackson; his brothers, Rev. Gilmore Chatman (Marguerite) and Emmett Lewis; his stepbrother Charles Reed; and his sisters, Audrey C. Williams, Delores Chatman (Cleo) and Gail Crawford.
Due to Covid 19 all those in attendance are required to wear a face mask and to practice social distancing.
