He was predeceased by: his former wife Marie Blanchard Brunet; his parents, Stanley Brunet and Lillian Voisin Brunet; and his siblings, Walterine B. Bourg, Ira Brunet Sr., Frances "Popeye" Brunet, Floyd Brunet of Stanley and Grace Brunet Clanton.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Chauvin Brunet; his children, James Brunet (Debi), Judy Bergeron (Michael), Timmy Brunet (Jan) and Ann Guidry (Brian); his stepchildren, Michelle Davidson (Richard) and Mark Voisin Jr. (Cherie); and his siblings, Ralph Brunet, Veronica Brunet Champagne and Romona Brunet Alleman. He is also survived by thirteen loving grandchildren, and numerous loving great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
