She is survived by: her husband Harold Verrett Sr.; her parents, Abraham Sr. and Effie Short Wallis; her son Harold Verrett Jr.; her siblings, Laverne Wallis Sims, Ruth Wallis Evans, Abraham Wallis Jr. and Cleon Wallis Sr.; and her grandson Michael Verrett. She is also survived by 36 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
