Hazel Boykin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2021, at the age of 98, Hazel Boykin of Houma, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Camden Peter Boykin; her sons, Henry Theriot, Jr. and Cleveland J. Boykin; her granddaughter Shannon Theriot; her parents, Joseph Matthews and Priscila Cooks Matthews; and her siblings, Cleveland, Clifford, Johnny, Robert, Clarence Matthews, Sadie M. Theriot, Lilian M. Fitch and Beatrice Matthews.
She is survived by: her children, Jerome Boykin, Sr. (Myrea), Peter Boykin, II, Ronnie Theriot, Sr. and Connie Boykin Nwajei. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A public viewing will be conducted from 8:00 a. m. until funeral time at 10:00 a. m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at New St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 2766 Hwy 311, Schriever, LA, 70395. (Per CDC regulations/local requirements all guests must wear face masks in building at all times).
