He was predeceased by: his son Harlan F. Belanger Jr.; his parents, Roland J. Belanger, Sr. and Claire Boudreaux Belanger; his siblings, Roland J. Belanger, Jr., Louis J. Belanger, Claire L. "Cookie" Belanger and Alice A. Belanger; and his nieces and nephews, Heather R. Belanger, Glenn D. Landry, Jr. and William E. Clark, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Sherri (Tripp), Cecily (Nick W.) and Nicholas "Nick"; his grandchildren, Noah, Zoey and Lincoln; and his siblings, John (Nancy), Jean (Glenn), Henrietta (Danny), Mary "Aggie" (Eddie), Van and Mark (Denise). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
