It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grid Hide (Houma, Louisiana), who passed away on June 22, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Rausher and Mary Lee Rausher; her father-in-law Warren C.; her brothers-in-law, Doug Schafer and Orville Gray; and her grandchildren, Ryan Schafer and Amanda Starkel.
She is survived by: her husband Warren A. Schafer; her children, Rick Schafer (Mary Jayne) of Mesa, AZ, Rita Tripp of Cortez, CO, Rhonda Schafer of Cortez, CO, Rachelle Starkel (Gregg) and Ramona LeBlanc (Peter); her grandchildren, Autumn Sobol (Mark), Brandon Tripp of Portland, OR, Bryan Tripp, Andrea Tripp of Portland, OR, Luke LeBlanc and Alyssa LeBlanc; her great grandchildren, Jillian and Ryleigh Sobol; her siblings, Loren Rausher (Judy) and Moya Gray (John); and her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Gray, Cheryl Carmichael (Ken), Donna Miller (Gerald) and Marcie Nash (Brian). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
