He was predeceased by: his father Godfrey Bergeron Sr.; his godson Jonathan Toups; his siblings-in-law, David Champagne, Glenn Toups and Jennie Bergeron; and his grandparents, Albert, Augusta Bergeron, Dulvia and Elsie Mae Duplantis.
He is survived by: his mother Enola Bergeron; his siblings, Emma Deroche (Carlton), Ann Hooks (Robert), Christine Cherry (David), Ellen Madere (Rene), Linette Champagne (Russell Authement), Joan Bergeron (Ned Gautreaux), John Bergeron (Melanie) and Steven Bergeron; and his nephew Eli Champagne. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
