She is survived by: her husband Gerald T. Morel, Sr.; her children, Gerald "Jerry" Morel, Jr. (Lisa), Herbert Morel, Zachariah "Zach" Morel (Nellie), Crystal Morel, Ashley Guidry, Ruth Benjamin (Gerald) and Joyce "Joy" Morel; and her siblings, Willie Veronie, Lee Veronie, Anna Hill, Adley Mesch and Joanne Veronie. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
