She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton, Sr. Thomassie and Gladys Guidroz Thomassie; her children, Charles Callais and Celeste Callais; her brothers, Clifton Thomassie, Jr. and Eugene Thomassie; and her daughter-in-law Jennifer Callais.
She is survived by: her husband Curtis Callais, Sr.; her sons, Curtis Callais, Jr. (Emily) and Chad Callais (Angie); her sister Catherine Melancon (Curtis); and her sister-in-law Merrill Thomassie. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
