Gertrude Celestin Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gertrude Celestin of Houma, Louisiana, who passed away on June 15, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris James and Alberta James (Moses Celestin). She is survived by: her children, Vincent, Gabriel (Maggie), Fredrick Celestin, Marie Celestin Lee, Neomi Scoby and Glenise Lagarde; her sister-in-law Janet James; and her siblings, Herman, Raymond, Morris, Clarence James, Mildred James and Marie of Washington. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren.
