It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Mazerac (Houma, Louisiana), who passed away on December 8, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Mazerac Sr. and Cable Marcel Mazerac; his grandson Chad Mazerac; his son-in-law Clifford; and his siblings, Wilfred "Bill" Mazerac, Wilson, Lawrence Jr., Lindsey "Shorty", Francis Mazerac, Rita May Lepine and Rose Marie Mazerac.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Vauclin Mazerac; his children, Derald Mazerac (Becky), Marlene Vigie (Richard), Patricia "Patty" Worthy (Kenny), Janice Shaw (Mike), Angela Traigle (John) and Geraldine Fabre (Kelly); his sister Rose Ann Abadie; and his grandchildren, Wendy Kimball, Danny Vigie, Kevin Mazerac, Salena, Clay Tabor, Craig Brewer, Jessica Barraza, Jessica Rodrigue, Jeremy Worthy, Brad, Danny Worthy, Jennifer Bourgeois, Ethan Babin, Mikel Shaw, Kaylyn Goodfriend, David Shaw, Nicole Broussard, Andy, Jonathon Traigle, Derren, Dustin, Dillon and Daniel Fabre. He is also survived by thirty-nine great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
