He was predeceased by: his parents, Ouida Lirette and Alex Lirette; his wife Susan E. Lirette; and his stepchildren, Julia Kennedy, Jeff Welch and Angela Courteau.
He is survived by: his siblings, Martha Stephenson (Donnie), Danny Lirette (Carolyn) and Rochelle Bice (Reed); and his children, Robyn Lapeyrouse (Dale), Jody Lirette (Jorge Sandro Patrisso) and Randy Lirette (Barbara). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM at the Chauvin Funeral Home (5899 LA-311, Houma, LA 70360). Viewing was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Francis Cemetery (6157 W Main St, Houma, LA 70360).
