He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzie Matherne and Mildred Thibodeaux Matherne; and his sister Brenda Matherne. He is survived by: his wife Carole Ann Pioth Matherne; his son Brett Matherne; his daughter-in-law Julie; his grandson Hunter Matherne; his brother Keith Matherne; and his pet Wilson.
