He was predeceased by: his parents, George Broom and Selma Roberts; his daughter Stephanie Eidt; and his grandson Joshua Eidt. He is survived by: his wife Scotti Broom; his children, Sarah Jordan (Rayne), Rhonda Hammond, Katrina Broom, Shannon Broom, Christina Lockhart and George Clark Broom, Jr.; and his siblings, Patsy, Paul (Clara), Berley (Brenda) and David (Sheila). He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
