She was predeceased by: her husband Russell John Authement; her son Cary Authement; her parents, Alice Dufrene and Nelven J. Dufrene; and her siblings, Will Dufrene, Alvin Dufrene, Janice Pryor and Della Hembree.
She is survived by: her son Marty D. Authement (Jennifer B. Authement); her grandson Brian Authement Sr.; and her great grandchildren, Brian Jr. and Tristan Authement.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Samart Funeral Home of Houma (635 Bayou Blue Rd, Houma, LA 70364). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bayou Blue Assembly.
