He is survived by: his mother Shirley M. Ward; his children, Frederick Ward, Jr., Alana Ward and Kasey Ward; his siblings, Roosevelt Ward, Jr., Jeffry Ward, Shelia Ann Townsend, Eileen D. Manuel and Christa L. Ward; his great-nephew Christian Hollinger; and his nephew Terry Townsend. He is also survived by five grandchildren; five nieces and two nephews.
