She was predeceased by: her husband Septime Hymel, Jr.; her parents, Frances Read and Charles Read; and her siblings, Austin Read, Charlie Read and Mary Nell Ballew.
She is survived by: her children, David Hymel (Margy), Charles Hymel (Donna), Nancy Nelson (Kevin), Linda Hymel, Mary Clardy (Dick), Claire Morgan (Niel), Amy Crawford (Tommy) and Susan Hymel; and her caregiver Cory Frantom. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
