He was predeceased by: his parents, Eustice Pitre, Sr. and Rose Pitre (Kraemer); his wife Patricia "Dianne" Pitre; his daughter Trevelyn Claire Pitre; and his siblings, Eurma Landry (Russell), Kenneth Joseph Pitre, Allen Michael Pitre and Glynn Paul Pitre.

He is survived by: his children, Tammra A. Marcel (Harry T. Marcel), Tanya "Nikki" Pitre and Craig J. Pitre; his grandchildren, Brandon Fonseca (Tess Theriot Fonseca), Reagen M. Fonseca, Emily Marcel Blouin (Michael Blouin), Courtney Marcel Brown (Brett Brown), Zachary Marcel, Fiance Brianne Burgess and Shaylee Levron; and his siblings, Dorothy "Dot" Howard, Joyce Carson (Kerry), Barbara Arceneaux (Kenneth), Rosemary Pitre, Steve Pitre (Pam) and Rickie Pitre (Gwen).
